In October, students of the Faculty of Business and Law at Kherson State University visited one of Lviv’s most atmospheric cultural events — the Coffee, Books & Vintage Festival.

Anna Chmut, lecturer at the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration, has successfully completed advanced training courses that promote the implementation of modern approaches in the educational process.

As part of Kherson State University's strategy aimed at internationalization and the promotion of English language learning, the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration has decided to teach a number of compulsory subjects in English for senior students.

First-year students of the Faculty of Business and Law learned about the faculty's international activities and the opportunities available to students in terms of academic mobility and foreign language learning.

On June 18–19, the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration successfully defended the qualification works of applicants for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in specialties 051 “Economics” and 073 “Management.”

The Department of Economics, Management, and Administration held its annual reporting session for graduate students majoring in Economics (051) from all years of study regarding the fulfillment of their individual plans.

The Faculty of Business and Law at Kherson State University is actively introducing teaching in English in order to develop students' language skills and increase their competitiveness in the international labor market.

Petrenko Viktoriia, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business and Law, successfully took part in the pilot project of the mentoring program “Scientific Diaspora for Ukraine”, aimed at supporting Ukrainian researchers and fostering their integration into the international academic community.

As part of the final lesson in the Business Planning course, fourth-year students presented business projects, including both start-ups and plans to expand existing businesses.

Professors and students of KSU's Faculty of Business and Law took part in a lecture by expert Mykhailo Patsan on autonomous artificial intelligence agents and their opportunities for learning and business.

The Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Kateryna Melnykova, together with the Vice Rector for Digitalization of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Lemeshchuk, have started their studies in the program "Microsoft: Cloud Platforms and AI for Productivity and Security Enhancement," organized for digital leaders in education

Each day brings new events, fresh connections, and even more hands-on knowledge. Today was truly special for our academic community: we hosted an interuniversity open lecture for students enrolled in the educational programs "Finance, Banking, Insurance, and the Stock Market" and "Accounting and Taxation." Students and faculty from Kherson State University and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University took part in the event — a vibrant and inspiring exchange of generations, experiences, and perspectives from different regions!

Practical training is a crucial stage in preparing professionals for the HoReCa industry.
It is during hands-on sessions that students learn to work with professional equipment, refine their techniques, and experience what a real kitchen feels like from the inside.

From April 21 to 25, the on-site week of students from the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University is taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk. Despite the Easter holidays, students from across Ukraine have come together for an intensive educational marathon.

On April 7, a working meeting was held to prepare and organize the regional festival-competition of ideas "Tasting in Our Native Village!".

On Saturday, the Faculty of Business and Law held the final master class of a series of career guidance trainings for high school students. The participants immersed themselves in the world of economics and management: they analyzed the prices for the Easter basket in 2025 and mastered time management techniques necessary for effective study and career.

The career orientation event brought together a series of webinars for future professionals in the tourism and restaurant industry.

Anna Chmut, Deputy Dean for International Affairs, took part in a training seminar for employees of international affairs departments on the EU Erasmus+ program.

The Department of Economics, Management and Administration held a meeting to discuss drafts of updated bachelor's and master's degree programs. The event was attended by guarantors of educational programs and students of various courses, who shared their ideas and suggestions for improving the curriculum.

A lecturer from the Faculty of Business and Law participated in a training on interactive teaching methods for the civic education course "Democracy: From Theory to Practice."
