This dictionary contains peacekeeping and military terminology related to the organization, armament, technical equipment, manning and completion of service, combat activity, management and logistical support of the armed forces of the United States, Great Britain, Ukraine, the combined armed forces of NATO, as well as international peacekeeping contingents.
It is intended primarily for translators who are interested in this topic.Materials for the dictionary were collected and processed by volunteers of Ukrop Austria in 2017-2022 using freely available sources.
The optional (optional) part of the term and its Ukrainian equivalent are written in brackets. For example: 'profitable (suddenly discovered) target' should be read: 'profitable target' or 'profitable suddenly discovered target'. Close values of the term are separated by a comma, more distant values are separated by a semicolon.
