Practical training is a crucial stage in preparing professionals for the HoReCa industry. It is during hands-on sessions that students learn to work with professional equipment, refine their techniques, and experience what a real kitchen feels like from the inside.
🍽️ Today, students of the “Hotel and Restaurant Business” program at Kherson State University immersed themselves in the world of professional culinary arts during practical classes in the following subjects:

The focus of the day was on cold dishes — a category that demands not only precision in preparation techniques but also creativity in presentation. Our students practiced plating appetizers, balancing flavors and textures, and working in conditions that closely simulate a real restaurant environment.
🌱 Hands-on experience is the foundation of professional confidence. These practical sessions help students gain a deeper understanding of their profession, develop teamwork, discipline, and creativity — all essential qualities in the modern hospitality industry.
💡 Unfortunately, part of our laboratory's material and technical base was damaged due to the war. That’s why we launched a crowdfunding project to help restore and upgrade the Hotel and Restaurant Management lab.
