Здобувачі факультету бізнесу і права Херсонського державного університету взяли участь в урочистому відкритті Global Money Week 2026, яке відбулося за участі представників Міжнародної мережі фінансової освіти при Організації економічного співробітництва та розвитку (OECD/INFE) — глобального організатора ініціативи.

Students of the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University participated in the online webinar “The Tradition of Using the Hryvnia in the Monetary Circulation of Ukraine,” delivered by Oksana Sokhan, a leading specialist at the Money Museum of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Students of the Faculty of Business and Law of Kherson State University took part in a professional online meeting with leading practitioners in the financial sector.

On 19 November 2025, Dr. Victoria Petrenko, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship at Kherson State University, took part in the scientific-practical Forum “Financial Support for Sustainable Development of Territorial Communities,” hosted by the National University of Ostroh Academy

Petrenko Viktoriia, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business and Law, successfully took part in the pilot project of the mentoring program “Scientific Diaspora for Ukraine”, aimed at supporting Ukrainian researchers and fostering their integration into the international academic community.

On April 28, 2025, representatives of Kherson State University joined the webinar "Erasmus+ Youth: Project Submission — Tips and Steps," gaining valuable expertise for advancing international cooperation projects.

On January 23, Kherson State University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Investment and Innovation Tools for the Revitalisation of De-Occupied Territories of Ukraine." The event brought together researchers, staff from institutional structural units, representatives of executive authorities and local self-government, as well as professionals from various enterprises and organisations, including postgraduate students.

Students of the specialty 015.37 "Vocational Education" (Agricultural Production) had the opportunity to participate in an exciting webinar titled "How DJI Agras T30 Drones are Changing the Approach to Growing Different Crops in Ukraine." The event was organized to familiarize future specialists with the latest agricultural technologies that are actively being implemented in Ukraine to enhance the efficiency of the agricultural business.

Lecturers of the Faculty of Business and Law, Kateryna Melnykova, Viktoriia Petrenko, and Vasyl Stratonov, participated in a series of lectures by leading British experts dedicated to the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence in education. The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring the prospects of integrating modern technologies into the educational process

On October 30, 2024, during the presentation of the survey results on the population of de-occupied territories of Ukraine, key regional issues were discussed, and priorities for addressing them were identified. The study was conducted as part of the EURIZON project No. EU-3033, "Stimulating the Development of De-occupied Territories through the EU's Innovation and Investment Instruments."

Faculty Members of the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship at Kherson State University participated in the webinar "Implementation of FADN in Ukraine," where they discussed key aspects of integrating the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) into Ukraine's agricultural sector, sharing experiences and exploring prospects for adopting this European tool.

As part of Savings Week, freshmen joined an NBU webinar titled "Pocket Money and Budgeting: From Desires to Achievements." Lead financial literacy expert Nataliya Nosyk shared tips on managing finances effectively and making informed decisions.

In honor of World Savings Day, students of Kherson State University participated in Savings Week 2024 under the theme "Budget – My Key SMART Habit." They attended a fascinating webinar led by Andrii Boiko-Haharinin, senior curator of the NBU Money Museum, which immersed them in the world of ancient treasures and savings traditions.

From July 14 to 20, the Head of the Academic Department, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship, Viktoriya Yatsenko, and the Lead Specialist of the Foreign Language Education Sector of the Department of International Initiatives and Project Activities at Kherson State University, Olena Stavenko, participated in the Summer School "Internationalization and Internationalization at Home through Virtual Exchange: Creating a Motivational Environment for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)" at Adam Mickiewicz University.

Representatives of Kherson State University continue to attend training workshops as part of the international EU Erasmus+ program project "Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative" (DigiUni). From July 21 to 25, the fourth training session is being held at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover (LUH) and the Technical Information Library (TIB) in Hanover, Germany. This session has brought together over 40 representatives from 10 partner Ukrainian universities, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals.

Kateryna Melnykova, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, successfully completed a management and leadership training course for university managers offered by the IT Ukraine Association. The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Digital Transformation, and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.

Designed for 10th-11th grade students and their parents, as well as for anyone interested in modern methods of financing education and learning.
